District softball kicks off later this week. But here’s a few more games to whet your appetite. Nicole Hudson homered and tossed a one-hitter as Webb City downed Cassville 15-0. In the OC, Joplin banged out 3 homers, including 2 by Ashley Shimmin, to down Waynesville 10-3. Walnut Grove’s Hannah Harman had another big night racking up 17 strikeouts in the Lady Tigers 7-0 win over Sparta. And Bolivar and Camdenton went 11 innings to decide their game. Scoreless through 9, both team put up a pair in the 10th. But Bolivar pushed one more home in the bottom of the 11th to get the 3-2 win.
