Thursday night in the Ozarks means the ladies rule the courts & what a night it was as the COC showdown in Marshfield lived up to the hype. Casey Garrison had another great night but Lacey Boshe, Sara Plemmons & crew won the battle 47-43 with a late steal & layup by Morgan Smith. The COC also showed it’s overall strength with Nixa, led by Bethanie Funderburk’s 27 points, knocking off state #5 Republic 71-53. Parkview continued their hot play of late with a 67-40 win over Hillcrest. While in the Big 8 Carl Junction took down Seneca 62-50 to go to 9-1 with Mannie DeCastro scoring her 1,000th career point. What a night indeed.
