12/12/08 scores

The Central Bulldogs serve notice that they are going to be a force in the area this year as they down Ozark in a big early season matchup 88-78 last night. The Bulldogs came out hot from the start and forced 15 Tiger turnovers on the night.  Johnny Gray scored 26 points to lead Central with Nathan Wood chipping in big time with 21.  Jordan Nuckolls had 30 for the Tigers to lead all scorers, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Central on this night.

And at Billings, Dietrick Sooter made a strong argument to be included in the discussion for the best player in the Ozarks with a 39 point, 9 3-pointer performance in the Eagles 77-74 loss to Billings.

Dietrick Sooter was lights out friday night. The refs blew it for them in the final minutes. Sooter Couldve had 50 if he wouldve shot more in the second half. After hitting his first 6 threes and scoring 24 points in the first half my question is why did PC stop giving him the ball. They were double teaming him and couldnt shut him down. Speechless is all there is to say this kid can play

I’m looking forward to watching him play to say the least. It should be interesting to see what kind of team he has around him.

ya his teammates are pretty solid. the low poat presence is missing but they are a guard oriented team. His brother Wayne Sooter is out right now but will be back christmas break and that will open up alot for Dietrick. Cause the other night Billings laid off the three guard and double teamed Sooter. With Wayne that wont be able to happen cause he will make them pay. im anxious to see how much better they will be after christmas though o and dont forget about the other post that is out also and will be back. PC will be a force to be reconned with!!
