In a mini COC/Ozark Conference Challenge last night, it was the COC coming out on top winning 3 of 4 games between conference opponents.  Nixa took the biggest contest of the night as they defeated Gold division #1 seed Glendale 101-79.  The Eagles broke open a 2 point game with a 32-12 fourth quarter to win by a comfortable margin.  Jordan Epps scored 26, 17 in the second half, to lead three Eagles in putting up 20 points or more.

The other COC wins belong to Rogersville, who got 24 from Joe Young to down West Plains 76-46, and Willard who dropped Camdenton 56-53 despite being without leading scorer Tim Huskisson.

Kickapoo defends the OC honor though as they beat Branson 69-59.  The Chiefs took a 13 point lead into halftime after holding Branson to just 4 points in the second quarter.  In the second half Avery Dingman got going scoring 24 of his 26 points, and Branson put together a 12-0 run to pull within three with 1:26 to play  But Kickapoo’s Cody Anderson led four Chiefs in double figures with 17 points as they held off the Pirates for the win.

On the girls side, Webb City’s Kyndal Clark goes off hitting 11 three pointers and scoring 37 points in three quarters of play as the Lady Cardinals rolled Joplin 83-33.  And Kelsey Williams is back for Eminence scoring 21 tonight as the Redwings hang only the second loss of the year on Van Buren 53-29.
