Tuesday, March 25th, 2008A veritable cornucopia of athletic treats today. From baseball to soccer to tennis to golf. Spring brings out the athlete in almost everyone. The performer of the day is Walnut Grove’s Derrick Morris who had 15 Ks while also belting 3 doubles in a losing effort against Wheatland. On the ladies side, we’ll tab Bolivar’s [...]

Monday, March 24th, 2008In the spring, a young ladies fancy turns to… soccer? Yep. At least for some girls in the Ozarks. And we’ll bring you all the scores we can get. But I’d be remiss if I didn’t encourage everyone to check out Springfield MO Soccer. They are simply the best resource for all SW Mo soccer [...]

Why Coach Towe’s firing is important
Monday, March 17th, 2008Discussion on the Randy Towe firing continues to burn hot. This MoSports discussion thread shows a pretty accurate picture of the general thoughts out there. Most people very upset that it happened and/or upset at the treatment of him. Very few folks speaking in favor of it. And they’re not making very convincing arguments when they do. [...]
