    Saturday, April 19th, 2008

In a Morrisville school board meeting held Thursday night, former girls softball and basketball coach Melody Stewart (Campbell) was offered her coaching position back. Post #201!!!

    Friday, April 18th, 2008

Hooray!!! My two hundred and first post!!! Hooray!!!
I know,I know.  I should have celebrated on post # 200, but I thought you would rather see the scores.  It’s now 4 months since I started OzarksSports.Net.  Since I gave some stats on the site at 2 months, I thought I’d give you another update on how [...]

    4/17

    Friday, April 18th, 2008

Some really nice performances across the Ozarks last night. Both Derek Harwell & Ryne Armstrong had a pair of homers for Ozark in their 13-1 pounding of Willard. Joplin’s Kelsey Sanders netted a hat trick as the Lady Eagles downed Hillcrest 6-0. Katie Pritchard continues her scoring hot streak for Waynesville with [...]

Take a little bit of baseball, mix in a pinch of soccer, blend with a dash of tennis, and what do you get? Wednesday’s scores of course. Greenwood and Kickapoo both won hard fought tennis matches 5-4 over Mt. Vernon and Catholic respectively. While Parkview pitched a shutout on the soccer pitch [...]

    Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

Now we’re getting some pitching going again. Webb City and McDonald County played a good old-fashioned pitcher’s duel as the Cardinals won 3-1. Mike Kickham of Glendale beat Kickapoo 10-0 on a 2 hitter. But Cassville’s Kelby Haynes did him 2 better throwing a no hitter in beating Monett 3-0. But [...]

25th Bass Pro TofC field announced

    Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

Next years version of the Tournament of Champions will see a few changes in both teams playing and days playing on. But will still have an excellent field and a host of strong division 1 prospects.
The local entries should be solid and a challenge for the out-of-state entries. Glendale, Central, and Ozark, all [...]
