    Both the News-Leader and Republic Monitor have reported that the Republic school board will be voting tonight to hire former Weaubleau, Willow Springs, Hillcrest, and Drury coach Gary Stanfield to head the Republic basketball team.  Stanfield resigned from Drury in 2004 and has been out of coaching since.  He will be replacing Denny McHenry who [...]

    Here’s the rundown for sectional games the next 2 days and then quarterfinal dates.
    CLASS 1
    5/19 games

    Valle Catholic (20-5) vs Winona (16-2) - 4:30 PM at Winona
    Norwood (13-11) vs Miller (21-2) - 5 PM at Miller
    Walnut Grove (16-4) vs Stoutland (18-2) - 5 PM at Stoutland

    Winners will play Wednesday 5/21 in quarterfinals
