The News-Leader released their All-Ozarks Baseball teams over a week ago. And I struggled with mentioning it because, as with all the News-Leaders All-Ozarks team, it was heavily slanted to the immediate Springfield area and to the larger schools. Excellent Ozarks representation across all 4 classes. The final four teams (Stoutland, Conway, Webb City, and Ozark) all had multiple selections. The girls, led by Casey Garrison’s 21 points, built a 15 point halftime lead and cruised to 71-44 win. Marshfield’s Lacey Boshe had 15 for the Area team. Alicia Garoutte of Kickapoo had 10 points [...] Don’t forget about the 31st Annual Lions Club All-Star Classic tomorrow evening in the W.E. Dowell Fieldhouse at BBC.
