2009 All-State Volleyball

The Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association announced their all state teams this week.  And they are simply loaded with Ozarks players.

Class 1 is dominated by seven first team players from four different teams.  Eminence, Osceola, and Winona each place two players on the first team to lead the way.  Osceola’s first teamers Imani Hairston and Meghan Schrock were joined by Alexis Self on the Honorable Mention list to give Osceola the most players selected of class 1 local teams.

Ash Grove and Fair Grove each had a first team selection and an honorable mention selection to lead the area squads.  And Clever’s Bridget Hanafin winds up her high school volleyball career with her third all-state selection.

Rogersville gets three all-state honorees on the class 3 teams with Erica Heim being selected first team.  She’s joined on the first squad by Republic’s Jordan Jones.

Finally, in class 4, eight different Ozarks teams have players honored on the all-state squad.  State champ Ozark leads the way with a pair of first teamers, Jade Hayes and Sydney Potts.  Camdenton and Glendale also have two players selected.  While Branson, Kickapoo, Lebanon, Nixa, and Webb City each have one player honored.
