In their Jan. 23rd issue, Collegiate Baseball Newspaper released their 2009 Louisville Slugger Pre-Season All-American team. And Catholic senior pitcher Joel Harrington was named to the second team. Exeter remains number two. Every other class has only some minor reshuffling. Class 2 for example. Osceola remains undefeated and number one, Couch moves up 2 spots to number [...] Still no games on the courts, but at least we have the latest state rankings to discuss. And for the first time this year, we have a SW Mo boys team ranked in class 5. Branson finally breaks through with their 19-1 record, at number ten.
