The Bolivar girls got their first close victory of the year last night beating Republic 57-55. Supergirl & Co. built a big early lead then held off a late charge. Good balanced scoring for the Lady Liberators would seem to bode well for their post-season chances. In the Frisco League, the state-ranked Laquey Lady Hornets were beaten by Richland 66-59. Couri Braithwait scored 22 to lead the Lady Bears to the upset. Big scorers for the night were Miller’s Hannah Wilkerson who scored 32 to lead the Lady Cardinals past Billings 65-62, & Loganne Grider who poured in 33 for Greenfield as the beat Sarcoxie 72-58.
