Now we’re getting some pitching going again. Webb City and McDonald County played a good old-fashioned pitcher’s duel as the Cardinals won 3-1. Mike Kickham of Glendale beat Kickapoo 10-0 on a 2 hitter. But Cassville’s Kelby Haynes did him 2 better throwing a no hitter in beating Monett 3-0. But you fans of offense, never fear. Carl Junction scored 18 and Purdy 17 in picking up wins. And the Hermitage/Osceola game produced 30 hits and 19 errors as Hermitage won the 23-11 slugfest.
