Basketball Roll of Honor – 2/2/12

Another rather slow week as far as individual performances, but we have more great career achievements.  Aurora’s Jenna Chadd leads this week’s list as she has surpassed the 1,500 point mark for her career.  Brittany McClelland of Central is the other girls honoree with 1,000 career points.  On the boys side we get a quartet of 1,000 point scorers including Rolla’s Jay Zalis, Jalen Norman of Nixa, Willard’s Skyler Frazier, and Cameron Green of Climax Springs.

Green’s teammate Michael Buerge highlights the game performances as he notches a triple double against Lakeland going for 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.  That’s his second triple double of the year.  Taylor Redd takes over second place in the girls rebounding list with a 20 rebound performance.  And Carl Junction’s Travis Vogt tops all free throw shooters as he had a perfect 14 for 14 night.
