Vashon titles removed
Wednesday, June 11th, 2008MSHSAA handed down their final ruling in regards to the Vashon basketball teams rules violations. And the Wolverines have been stripped of 5 district titles, 1 state runner-up finish, and 3 state titles.

Monday, May 19th, 2008Both the News-Leader and Republic Monitor have reported that the Republic school board will be voting tonight to hire former Weaubleau, Willow Springs, Hillcrest, and Drury coach Gary Stanfield to head the Republic basketball team.
