No area boys teams finished in the top 5. But Austin Slagle of Ash Grove did represent the Ozarks well finishing fourth in the individual competition. A totally different story on the girls side as Springfield [...] College Heights rolls to another boys cross country state title over the weekend, easily defeating second place Oak Ridge 64-92 (less is more in cross country). Caleb Hoover took first place individual honors for the Cougars, followed in second by teammate Trenton Morris in second.
