    A rough weekend for area track teams at the state championships in Jefferson City.  The best finish was mustered up by the Waynesville boys who took 4th in class 4.  With the majority of their events on Saturday, the Tigers figured to be trailing starting day 2.  But they could not make up any ground [...]

    3:35 PM - No more state champions to report yet, but all-state placements in the girls class 3 and 4 1600M, the class 3 girls long jump, and the class 4 boys triple jump.

    Class 4 sectionals were held in Eureka for Waynesville and Rolla, and in Camdenton for the rest of the Ozarks big schools.
