Championship Soccer Updates

7:30 PM – And Catholic’s game finishes where we left it, with the Irish trailing 1-0.  Whitfield wins their sixth state title in eight years.  Catholic gets a second place finish in the third year of their program.  A great season for the Irish, and the two second place finishes represent the best combined finish for the Ozarks in the final four yet.  Yet.

5:10 PM - Bolivar finishes second in state as they fall in the championship match 7-0.  The Liberators trailed only 1-0 at the half but the floodgates opened for the defending champs as Bolivar tried to push for a tying goal.  Get finish for the Liberators as the tie the best finish ever by an Ozarks team.

Catholic is trying to do them one better, but trail in the first half 1-0.
