Class 1 & 2 state track & field individual results.

Overall it was a decent showing for the Ozarks in the state track and field championships for classes 1 and 2. Some individuals didn’t meet their expectations, be we still garnered a nice list of state champions.
In terms of championships, Miller’s Taylor Rivera takes top honors. She doubled winning both the 800 and 1600 in class 1. Other class 1 winners were Nathan Rigsby of Crocker in the high jump, Vanessa Langford of Bronaugh in the pole vault, and Candice Talbot of Jasper in the shot put.
In class 2, Lucas Manring won the 800 for Stockton and was a huge contributor to their third place finish as he contributed points in 3 other events. Conway freshman Dallis Bailey won her first state title in the 800. College Height’s 2nd place finish was spearheaded by Ethan Beaver. He won the 3200 and found points in another 3 events also. And Anessa Alexander of Strafford dominated the field in winning the triple jump by over a foot.

wow next year she’s going to do much better, she can use her legs now that she had ACL surgery!!
