Whew! Vacation is over, 5 state championship events in 1 month are done, and the school year has come to an end. ‘What do we do now?’ you ask. Fear not. There’s plenty going on during the summer for us to talk about.
AAU basketball, American Legion baseball, and other youth sports I’ll be trying to cover. We have all-state teams to be announced in soccer, baseball, & lacrosse. I’m arranging interviews with some local sports figures. The OzarksSports.Net Forums will be expanding. Plus I’m working on my first feature articles for you including a profile of a sport that I think is tailor made for many of the smaller schools in the Ozarks, 8-man football.
Break is over, and now it’s back to it. As Jerry Reed sang “We’ve got a long way to go, and a short time to get there.”
