Webster Groves took all the drama out of the championship game early opening up leads of 23-8 after the first quarter & 38-14 at the half before taking their 3rd straight title 61-31. The Statesmen got balanced scoring with 3 players in double figures & shut down hot shooter Bret Schwartz of Blue Springs to win easily. Joseph Fauvergue again led CJ with 19 as the Bulldogs held off Webb City 48-43 for 3rd. Cody Sorenson scored 31 points to lead Francis Howell back from a 41-31 halftime deficit to beat William Chrisman 76-72 in the 5th place game. Joplin hit 8 3 pointers to beat Neosho for 7th place.
