Middleton to be new Nixa coach

Jim Middleton has announced his resignation from his position as head womens basketball coach at SBU and told his players that he will be taking the empty Nixa girls basketball coaching position. The move had been rumored but was just to unbelievable. To think that Middldeton would step away from a successful program that he had built after 14 years to enter the chaos of the current Nixa situation seemed unthinkable. But Middleton is a 1979 Nixa graduate and may have seen this as an opportunity to restore some lost luster to his alma mater’s name.
