    October in July

    By Joboo | July 2, 2008

For those of you that need a football fix, MoSports has a rather lively discussion going on right now about the best Missouri high school football team ever. The main local team getting discussed, and put forth by some as ‘the’ team, is the 1980 Parkwood Bears from Joplin. Still the fourth highest scoring team ever according to MSHSAA records. And they pitched 11 shutouts in 14 games. The 87 Seneca Indians also get a shout out for best class 2 team ever. Give it a read when you get a chance. And dream of cool, autumn, Friday nights.
