Other Friday action

I know some people may be shocked to hear this. But (brace yourself) there are sports other than football played on Fridays in the fall. For instance, softball, where Ash Grove beat Miller 7 to 5 last night. Shelly Wilson had 3 hits to lead the Pirates. Boy’s swimming and diving also. Why yesterday Kickapoo won an 8 team meet with Central finishing second. Yes, tons of things are going on. And here are the scores.

Might be worth mentioning, the Strafford/Willard softball game last friday was a 15 inning affair. A great game all around.
