Richland player killed
By Joboo | March 26, 2008
As much as we try to avoid it, all athletic endeavors are just games. We focus on them for various reasons, but life often shows us that they have a proper place. Such is the case today with the news that Richland senior Jessica Murray, 18, was killed yesterday afternoon in a car accident outside of Richland on highway 7. Frank Miko of Richland, 87, was killed also. At this time Jessica’s sister Kellie Murray, 15, is in St. John’s ICU unit having suffered serious injuries in the accident. Jessica had been awarded numerous athletic awards, most recently being named first team all-district in basketball.
Our thoughts & prayers are with Kellie, the Miko family, and especially the Murray family.

How tragic, especially since this is the second Murray child to be killed in a car wreck. Her older sister, Amanda, also died in a wreck.

REST IN PEACE JESSICA. The whole school misses you. We have no idea how to deal with this. This is such a heartbreak.
Also, pray for Kellie and Andrew Lowe. He was on his way us to the Hospital to see Kellie when he had an accident. His leg was crushed.

I prayers are with Amanda, Jessica, and Kellies families and brother.
I am so sorry for your loss, again. I was very close with Amanda. She was dating my brother, here in AZ, when she passed away. Amanda was a beautiful, caring person who i think about everyday. I am so sorry for the Murray-Carr families. You girls are in heaven now with my 2 best friend who were killed by a drunk driver in 2006. I am sure they are waiting for us all to join them.
We love and miss you girls… rest in peace and watch over us all. i love you.
