Saturday Final Four updates

2:07 - Bolivar wins the class 4 girls championship 47-43 in overtime. The Lady Liberators scored the first 5 points in OT & Notre Dame could not keep pace. Casey Garrison finishes with 25 pts & 13 rebounds to put a perfect cap on her brilliant high school career. Hayley Blair kicks in 10 points to help the cause. Notre Dame’s excellent defense kept them in the game as they held Bolivar to 32.4% shooting for the game & kept Crystal Guiot from hitting any 3-pointers. Down by 8 in the 4th, Bolivar rallied to take a 3 point lead with 26 seconds left on a pair of free throws by Garrison. By Notre Dame’s Teresa Turner hit a 3 with under 2 seconds remaining to force OT. Bolivar wins it’s second state title and first since 1982. Congratulations to the Lady Liberators for a fantastic season.
2:00 - The class 4 girls championship game is going to overtime. Bolivar 41, Notre Dame de Sion 41.
1: 20 - The Bolivar girls trail at halftime 23-20. Casey Garrison has 11 points.
12:25 - Webb City wins 3rd place 70-52 over Lincoln Prep. Tied 24-24 at the half, Webb City’s inside game began to take hold in the second half culminating in their outscoring Lincoln 27-13 in the 4th quarter. Caleb Powell & Alan Pink each scored 18 to lead the Cardinals who finish the season 26-5.
