Springfield to host 09-11 state baseball

The MSHSAA board of directors voted unanimously today to accept Springfield’s proposal to host the 2009-2011 state baseball championships at Meador Park.  St. Joseph was also in the running.  The board cited the number of compliments it had received about Springfield, and the numerous improvements made to Meador as factors toward the decision.  You can read the entire press release here.
