State class 3 & 4 track & field team results

A rough weekend for area track teams at the state championships in Jefferson City. The best finish was mustered up by the Waynesville boys who took 4th in class 4. With the majority of their events on Saturday, the Tigers figured to be trailing starting day 2. But they could not make up any ground on the leads of the 3 teams in front of them. The Kickapoo boys place 7th as to the West Plains girls in class 3. The Branson boys are the only other area team to manage a top 10 finish with a 10th place tie in class 3.
