State swimming and diving team finals

A good day for area teams at the state boys swimming and diving championships. The area teams continue to gain on the big boys as Kickapoo takes second behind powerhouse Rockhurst. The Chiefs nabbed state titles in three events and finished second in 2 others to outdistance third place Blue Springs by over 100 points. Nixa also finished in the top 10 tying Chaminade for seventh place. Individual results coming tomorrow.
