4:30 PM – Carlee and Mackenzie Rozell couldn’t have hoped for a more perfect day 1. They drop only 2 games as they advance to tomorrow’s semifinals. After winning their first round match 6-1, 6-1, they better than in the next round going 6-0, 6-0. Not only is it week 2 of the district playoffs with a number of big matchups, but we have state championships going on in softball & girls tennis. Up in St. Joseph, the Republic Lady Tigers and Pleasant Hope Lady Pirates are getting ready for the semifinal games. Webb City grabbed the first set 28-26 serving notice that they wouldn’t be an easy win. But Ozark rallied to take an epic second set 29-27.
