It’s a huge day in Ozarks sports. Not only is it week 2 of the district playoffs with a number of big matchups, but we have state championships going on in softball & girls tennis. Up in St. Joseph, the Republic Lady Tigers and Pleasant Hope Lady Pirates are getting ready for the semifinal games. [...] GIRLS TENNIS CLASS 2 District 6 at Cooper Tennis Complex, Springfield Team results 1. Kickapoo – 28.5 A huge volleyball matchup lived up to the hype last night as Ozark downed Webb City 2-1. Webb City grabbed the first set 28-26 serving notice that they wouldn’t be an easy win. But Ozark rallied to take an epic second set 29-27. In the third set, Ozark took control and Webb City couldn’t overtake [...] Well there was some outside activity yesterday. Unless they’ve started playing high school golf indoors which I wouldn’t be surprised at. The Ozark Conference held their girls gold tournament yesterday and Kickapoo won their fourth straight title.
