Tuesday district soccer report

Semifinals in two class 3 districts last night.  Both #1 seeds move on as Camdenton defeats Washington 3-0 in district 10, and Joplin drops Central 8-0 in district 12.  But the #2/#3 matchups in each district were thrillers.  Make sure you click the links for coverage from Springfield Soccer.  Their coverage of soccer in the area just gets better & better.

10/22/09 scores

Final regular season games for most volleyball teams in the area as districts start Monday.  State ranked squads Republic and College Heights both get wins.  Republic defeats Buffalo in straight sets 25-22, 25-14 with Jordan Jones leading the way with 18 assists.  Alex Botkin gets 14 digs for the Tigers also.  Class 2 College Heights downs class 4 Neosho in two sets 25-16, 25-28.
