Big win tonight on the soccer pitch for Greenwood as the knock off last year’s class 2 runner up Bolivar 2-1. Matt Magana registered a first half goal to give the Liberators a 1-0 halftime lead. But Greenwood rallied in the second half shutting out Bolivar while getting the tying goal from Stuart Beezley. Then Devon Whitlock came through with the game winner. Nice early season win for the Blue Jays.

Last week of the regular season for boys soccer and we get the always entertaining Glendale/Kickapoo rivalry.
