Rolla goalkeeper Adrian Pogue continues her great season and helps lift the Lady Bulldogs to a district championship as Rolla defeats top seed Jefferson City 1-0 on penalty kicks. This is the 16th shutout of the year for Rolla and the 14th for Pogue tying her for 5th on the all-time Missouri single season list.

We have our first district champion of the year and to no ones surprise, it’s Springfield Catholic. The Lady Irish knock off second seeded Greenwood 4-0, but it was 1-0 until the 70th minute. but Catholic found the back of the net three times from there to seal it.

Semifinals in two class 3 districts last night. Both #1 seeds move on as Camdenton defeats Washington 3-0 in district 10, and Joplin drops Central 8-0 in district 12. We finished up the district season last night in grand fashion. The ladies took the soccer pitch in Ozark with traditional rivals Glendale and Ozark facing off for the class 3 district 11 title. And this time the top seeded Lady Falcons came away with a 2-0 victory. They now move on to face Joplin in the opening round of the state tournament.
Meanwhile at Halfway, top seed Dadeville wasn’t as fortunate as second seeded Weaubleau upset the Bearcats to win the district title 4-1. Weaubleau now gets to host Stoutland Monday night.
