2009 Class 1 All-State Softball

And here’s the final all-state team.  Class 1 where dynamic pitcher Katie Shockley of Crocker is the only area first team pick.  Both Norwood and Weaubleau got a pair of underclassmen on the second team.  For Norwood, juniors Ashlynn Chadwell at catcher and Jordan Gray at third base made it.  For Weaubleau, junior pitcher Callie Weant and freshman catcher Dana Graves.  Congratulations to all the area players honored!

2009 Class 2 All-State Softball

Finally found the last all-state softball teams.  Here’s class 2 with class 1 to follow.  Only one first team selection from the area.  Morrisville’s Kasey Painter.  Both Pleasant Hope and Purdy place two girls on the second team.  The Pirates Sarah Siegismund is one of only two freshman picked.  Congratulations.

2009 Class 3 All-State Softball

Thanks to a generous reader, here’s the class 3 all-state softball teams.  Republic has three selections to the squad with pitcher Hailey Johnson being selected to the first team.  Her catcher, Amanda Davis, and infielder Payton Appleberry made the second team.  McDonald County received two selections on the second team also.  Pitcher Kaily Harvey and outfielder Ashton Pratt.  Carl Junction was the only other squad to see a player selected as infielder Lauren McRae made the second team.
