Finally found the last all-state softball teams. Here’s class 2 with class 1 to follow. Only one first team selection from the area. Morrisville’s Kasey Painter. Both Pleasant Hope and Purdy place two girls on the second team. The Pirates Sarah Siegismund is one of only two freshman picked. Congratulations. In class 2, the Pleasant Hope Lady Pirates took the third place game 4-1 over Belle to finish the season 23-5. Sarah Siegismund scattered 8 hits over her 7 innings of work while striking out [...] *UPDATED* 10/16 Rain postponed most of Wednesday’s sectional softball action. They’ll try all the suspended games again today weather permitting. Three games did get completed though. In class 2, Pleasant Hope’s Sarah Siegismund pitched a no hitter to lead the Lady Pirates to a 5-0 win over Diamond.
