The Missouri finalists for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award have been named and the Ozarks are represented well. For those of you not familiar with the High School Heisman, it’s an award given annually to 1 male and 1 female athlete for excellence in academics, athletics, and community/school leadership.  The Ozarks has a strong connection to the award as the first female winner in 1994 was Trisha Perry from Mansfield.  10 boys and 10 girls from across the state have been selected for consideration as the 2008 state winner.  Of those 20 students, 5 call the Ozarks home.  They are…
