One thing I dislike about football season is that it’s so short. 10 weeks, then the playoffs which add 4 more weeks and it’s done. Which for someone like me, leaves me very little time to see all the teams I’d like to. It’s like a really great potluck dinner. Everything is prepared and you’re dying to eat. There are tons of great dishes, but you can only sample so many before the table is cleared or you get full. You get pretty selective about what you take. That’s the way I am about the games I attend. Now factor in that I’m a band parent that’s very involved with the marching band. That obligates me to be in attendance for all the home games I can make it to. Cutting my potluck time in half. In short, I give a lot of thought to what games I’m going to watch

So many things attracted me to this game. Seeing for myself how good Webb was after their easy win over Harrisonville. Laying eyes on Rogers $15.5 million football facility. The chance to spend an evening in among the Webbies themselves and see if they were as good/bad as advertised. And the fact that last years game between these two was a classic and this game held the same possibility.
