Thursday district golf

Four district championships settled yesterday on the links. Ash Grove dominated the field in class 2 district 7, besting Mt. Vernon by 45 strokes. Jordan Dickson of Ash Grove was the top individual with teammate J.J. Brown in second. In class 2 district 6, Catholic won as expected but not without a great fight from Willow Springs as the Bears fell just 3 strokes short of the Irish. And in class 1 district 4, Greenwood won on the fifth-man tiebreaker as the finished regulation play tied at 362 with Newburg.
