Vashon titles removed

MSHSAA handed down their final ruling in regards to the Vashon basketball teams rules violations. And the Wolverines have been stripped of 5 district titles, 1 state runner-up finish, and 3 state titles.
As a result, Kickapoo has gained the 2006 class 5 state championship. The Chiefs finished runner up after a 58-55 title game loss to Vashon. They will now be recognized as the historical champion.
The Wolverines will also be forced to forfeit state titles from 2001 & 2004, as well as district titles from 2001 & 2003-2006.

Also, the 04-05 Chiefs are now tied with the
02-03 Chiefs for best record in R-12 history
at 30-1 thanks to Vashon!
