Week 10 state football rankings
By Joboo | November 5, 2008
The last regular season rankings are out and there is very little change again. In fact the only change in the class 1 and 2 polls is that Liberty is no longer tied for tenth in class 2. They now hold that position alone. Undefeated Fair Grove is still number seven in class 2.
In class 1, Thayer is number 4, Miller is number seven, and Greenfield is just outside the top 10.
A little movement of local interest in class 3. Monett is now only getting 3 first place votes and is solidly number two behind Chillicothe. Mountain Grove sits at number 4 again. But Salem has moved into the number 10 spot in the state. Looks like the close game with Sullivan opened some eyes. Cassville is getting some votes this week.
In class 4, Webb City is still entrenched behind Kearney and Union at number 3 with one first place vote. Carthage moves up this week to number 8. And Bolivar received a vote.
No area teams mentioned in the class 5 or 6 polls.
