Week 5 review
By Joboo | September 29, 2008
What a week. Ryan Howerton continues to amaze. Monett looks like the best Big 8 team in many years. The top team in the OC gets smacked around big time. And the young turks from Branson, Fair Grove, and Liberty continue to rise. This season has the possibility of being one of the most memorable of all time in the Ozarks. The second half of the season is upon us. But before we get there, looks take a look at week 5 of…
THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY

- With the weight of 58 straight losses, 6 years without a win, and the hopes of all his teammates and the Parkview fans on his shoulders, the junior kicker knocked home the 25 yard streak busting field goal in the second overtime to lift Parkview to the 39-36 win. And by the way, it was his first varsity field goal of his career. Congrats to all the Vikings players, coaches, and fans.
