By Joboo | April 28, 2008
Before we move onto the baseball for this week, here’s a look at the weekend’s scores. Stoutland took a loss in a battle of state-ranked teams as they lost 3-0 to #4 Oran despite Cory Kyle only allowing 4 hits and striking out 11. The Tigers were held to 1 hit in the game. Webb City pitching is scorching hot right now having given up only 2 hits in the last 3 games. Chance Sossamon spins a 1 hit 5 inning shutout of Neosho Saturday as the Cardinals with 14-0. And Winona’s Logan Holthaus also only gives up 1 hit as Winona downs Gainesville 8-0. But the Wildcats end the weekend on a down note, falling to Dora 9-3.
